Sports Crusader can exclusively confirm that Black Stars goalie, Adam Larsen Kwarasey’s name continues to be absent from the Black Stars call up for the double header 2015 Afcon clash against the Cranes of Uganda on 15th November and the Hawks of Togo on 19th November.

Sports Crusader understands that head coach Maxwell Konadu, nearly handed Kwarasey a call-up after putting up impressive performances for his Norwegian club side Stromgodset. Kwarasey was left out of the team that has already played Uganda, Togo and Guinea.

South African side, Mpumalanga Black Aces defender, Kwabena Adusei, gained another call up into the squad following his first invitation into the team to replace injured John Boye at the time.

As had been revealed to you already by sportscrusader.com, John Boye has returned to the team after it returned from the World Cup in Brazil. The Erciryespor defender will be hoping to get into the final eighteen squad that will face the Cranes of Uganda and the Hawks of Togo on the 15th and 19th of November respectively.

Captain Asamoah Gyan and Juventus midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah have been ruled out because of injury.

Asamoah Gyan will be replaced by Emmanuel Osei Banahene of Saudi side Al Orobah while Kwadwo Asamoah’s absence shall not warrant any new call up as there are options for the coach.
