A young promising gospel artiste, Nyamekye Zionite has passed on 233 Live News understands.
The artiste, 25, died on Tuesday, January 13 after he was involved in a fatal accident in the Ashanti Region on his way to visit his parents in Sekyere.
Zite as he is otherwise known as, is remembered for his special rendition of “Me ye wo di Lord” at Joe Mettle’s Celebration of Love concert in 2013.
According to reliable sources, the artiste’s car was badly damaged in the accident that occurred around 7am.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital in an unconscious state but passed on hours later.
Nyamekye Zionite was a worshipper and dedicated gospel artist whose passion was to reach the people and nations of the world with the gospel of Christ in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.
Some notable gospel artiste took to social media to express their shock at the loss of the artiste. Notable amongst them included Minister Denzel Ayemang-Prempeh who said;

Screaming out loud but yet within my soul.
I miss you already bro.
