The Progress People’s Party’s (PPP) parliamentary aspirant for the Efutu constituency, Nana Ofori Owusu, has told the Editor of the Daily Dispatch Newspaper, Ben Ephson, that he is not Jesus Christ to foretell the fortunes of the PPP in the forth coming general elections.
Ben Ephson had earlier stated emphatically that the Presidential candidate for the PPP, Dr. Paa Kwesi Ndoum, had little chances of winning the 2016 elections.
According to the pollster, “The PPP is one of the smaller parties who are attempting to make a mark but it is going to be difficult,”

“For 2016, I do not foresee it. We have not done any polls but the gap of less than 1 per cent to above 40 per cent to even force a run-off, I do not foresee that.” – He added

In a rather sharp reply, Nana Ofori Owusu, who was speaking on Accra based Peace FM on behalf of the party said Ben Ephson had no command of the future.
He told Ben Ephson to rather be concerned of his own life since that was the only thing he had control over and not Dr. Ndoum’s PPP.

“Ben Ephson is not Jesus Christ to tell us whether we’ll win the 2016 elections or not. He should mind his own business” – Nana Owusu fumed.
